The Hymans Robertson Foundation is delighted to announce the launch of its first ever website. Its aim is to provide an easy and accessible way to engage with the Foundation and find out about its work across the UK, its charity partners and the volunteering it supports.
Clive Fortes, Chair of the Foundation:
“Our website is launched at a critical time for the Foundation, our charity partners and the young people and communities we support. Our ambition has been to secure financial futures for young people and support communities across the UK, it’s never been more needed.”
As the website was under development, the full force of the covid-19 pandemic was beginning to take hold. In response to the unfolding crisis and resulting increased demand for services delivered by charities across the UK, the Foundation set up a Hardship Fund to provide emergency funding support to its extended network of charity and community organisations. To date, +£30,000 has been distributed to over 20 charities across the UK. More information is available here.
Marcella Boyle, the Foundation’s CEO, commented:
“To support ongoing delivery, we must stay connected and influenced by the needs of the vulnerable people we support. The Hardship Fund is our contribution to providing immediate support, alongside our existing investment in time, volunteering and funding to our charity partners.”
