Marcella Boyle's journey at The Hymans Robertson Foundation

In this short vlog Marcella shares her four-year journey with The Hymans Robertson Foundation. Shortly after joining in 2019 The Foundation had to deal with the impact of Covid and how that impacted how we provided funding and support.

Emerging from Covid we faced the cost-of-living crisis which significantly impacted the people we support. The Foundation has had to continue to adapt to these crises so we can continue to provide support and funding to those most affected. 

We continue to design and change our funding to reflect the feedback we get from charity partners, stakeholders, the Board and other grant makers.

That feedback helps us design our support programmes to ensure we can benefit those most in need.

We’ve learnt a lot along the way and over the years we’ve seen policy and funding changes across Scotland the UK. We continue to work closely with our charity network to see how we can co-produce funding that has the significant impact we’re looking for – to secure the financial future of young people and to offer volunteering and matched funding to the communities we work in.

The last four years have been challenging but rewarding and I look forward to the impact the Foundation can make in the future.
