Peter Carver was appointed as a trustee in June 2023. He is a senior actuarial consultant at Hymans Robertson, where he has worked since 2009, and has supported the Foundation in a range of ways over many years.
Peter brings strong analytical expertise and broad experience to the Board. He advises clients across the third sector and also serves as a founding trustee of a small community-based charity. Through this work, he has developed a deep understanding of the challenges charities face, and the role good governance and funding can play in supporting long-term impact. As a pensions consultant, he is passionate about helping people secure better financial futures and reducing inequality.
Outside work, Peter is actively involved in his local church, where he leads the audio-visual team. He also enjoys spending time with his young family.
